Homeopathy Celebrities on the Couch: Rihanna, it's a lonely place down there...

Rihanna
Rihanna, By SandyRiri18
Flickr.com

This week the Undercover Homeopath analyses Rhianna's psychological profile according to homeopathy principles, and prescribes a homeopathic remedy.

That awkward moment when chat show host Ellen DeGeneres realises she is interviewing one of RiRi's body parts...

Rihanna has been voted the sexiest woman alive

She is also one of the most successful singers, and since her career took off at the age of sixteen she’s been constantly in public view.

She had a traumatic upbringing, her parents separated when she was young. Her dad has a long history of addiction to both alcohol and cocaine. As a child she was a bit of tomboy, prefer to play amongst the boys then to be with girls. She suffered from debilitating headaches as a child.

She admits that her ideal man has to be aggressive, mysterious and very self-assured…

She’s been abused by the men in her life, and suffered a very public attack by former partner Chris Brown who left her excoriated, bruised and battered for all of us to see, after one of the couple rows went out of control.

On Twitter she is constantly talking about sex, and retweeting her fans lewd comments about her.

In her song Disturbia which was curiously written by Chris Brown for himself but later decided that the song didn’t suit him as it had a very feminine vibe and was more suited to Rihanna.  It speaks of mental confusion and identity crisis  of someone beeing intruded and invaded by someone or something stronger than them. The song is very suggestive of rape and of the mental confusion rape victims can go through afterwards.

There are also other interesting songs that replay this theme, not necessarily of actual rape, but of abusive sexual relationships.

Her album “Good girl gone bad” also plays up to the theme of someone who was innocent but has been corrupted.

In homeopathy the best known remedy for rape victims, and females who have been victims of sexual abuse is Staphysagria. It is also a main remedy for cystitis after intercourse: what it is sometimes called “Honeymoon cystitis”. It is also a remedy for head and eye injuries with severe headaches.

A patient needing Staphysagria, is excessively sexual, even lewd, and given to masturbate frequently. They become sex obsessed after the abuse they have sustained.

There is a guilty complex about the abuse itself, with the patient suffering from indignation about the way they have been treated by their abuser. However this anger is turn towards them for having allowed the attack to happen.

Their psychological coping mechanism is to become sexually corrupt, playing the initial traumatic sexual event, and re-inventing it by creating situations, or getting involved in relationships, that have the potential for further physical and sexual abuse.

In a way they feel this as a way of gaining control over of themselves: if they are the ones creating the opportunity for their own abuse to take place, at least they have some control over the situation.

Resume: Applying for a job in homeopathy

Claudia Dias

I am a people's person, always interested in social issues, political affairs, medical research, scientific discoveries, and homeopathy.

I’m a qualified homeopath and shamanic healer with a particular interest in the area in mental health.

I’m also an actor and scriptwriter.

I hope to never cease to learn about homeopathy - it fascinates me how it can be applied to all life circumstances - it is a true holistic healing - unique, bespoke medicine tailored for each individual.

It helps us to be in harmony: mind, body and soul by integrating how we relate to our social and physical environment, and defines us as unique individuals distinct from everyone else.

If you don't believe me give it a try!

Sometimes it’s absolutely necessary and imperious to recourse to conventional medicine, but this should only be a temporary measure with the understanding that as much as conventional medicine and surgery might be the way the best way to postpone death it doesn’t offer long term health.

Would you rather wear clothes that we especially made for you or wear a one size fit all? So why do you think you should use one size fits all medicine rather than that a holistic system especially selected for you?

Conventional medicine's ability to deal with disease is only temporary, removing the pathology from one organ while causing damage to other organs through its aggressive suppression techniques (drugs, surgery, etc.).

If you want to know what are going to suffer next, it’s very simple: just read the side-effects of what you are taking now and you will know!

The same is happening to our environment where aggressive pesticides combined with genetic manipulation are leaving a trail of destruction behind, depriving us both at the national level and causing irreversible damage to our endocrine system. Our mental health and emotional being suffers for this too...even for those incapable of understanding their own spiritual connection to the rest of nature, it should be clear that our emotions are ruled by hormones and that our endocrine system is sensitive to even minute changes to chemicals and radiation in our environment.

We as supra intelligent beings should be the guardians of nature not its attackers. By ravaging our own natural resources we serve our greed but we don't create long lasting wealth, we become poorer both materially and spiritually.

Email me at undercoverhomeopath@gmail.com for an appointment. I practice from central London and North London where I live; I also consult on the phone. I offer a free short consultation on Twitter: this is only useful for recent ailments, follow me @urban_healing and you will find my #healingmondays often advertised.

If your ailment is chronic, we both need to take time looking at the many life patterns physical and emotional, as well as your medical history.

We will then look at homeopathic and shamanic remedies, healing techniques, meditation and nutritional supplements that can set you on the path of recovery and of discovery of your new you: developing your potential and helping you to be the best you can possibly be!

I know it takes time but it's time well spent!

Who is up for the corporate Darwin Awards?

Nature
A small slice of Nature by CubaGallery, Flickr
I’ve been looking through the latest candidates for Darwin Awards …

For those of you who are not familiar with this “award”: it’s a compilation of ridiculous and unnecessary deaths caused by the stupidity of the deceased themselves. Based on Darwin’s evolutionary theory – those less than bright individuals remove themselves from the gene pool by their untimely deaths so that humanity will not have to inherit their idiocy… I know it’s all a bit of juvenile humour, but life is tragicomic and sometimes it’s good to see its funny side.

Anyway, that got me thinking about creating a new award, based on the same principles but for corporations! After all corporations are run by individuals, and they should be made accountable for the high level of stupidity that they display!

It’s a very simple and basic principle that even animals know:

“You don’t poop where you eat!”

And yet in an age of great technological advance and increased scientific knowledge that’s exactly what some keep on doing…

We’ve all heard it: “with great power comes great responsibility” – just because you can do it, doesn’t mean you should!

What would be a good name for this award? Perhaps the “With Great Power Comes Great Stupidity Award” or the “It’s A Brave Stupid World Out There Award”

“IABSWOT Award" for short…

The main dilemma is who to give it to? So many candidates… I’m getting dizzy watching quite a few of them trying to outdo each other… to name just a few, and please forgive me for the many omissions … I’d like to organise a more comprehensive list in the coming weeks – if you like minded folks can help me with this: we could have a Twitter hashtag #IABSWOT where you could post the name of any nominees, preferably with a link to information as to why they deserve the Award.

We have NASA

Discarding all sort of rubbish into space from old satellites to common waste from their space station, and watching it whizz around our planet until eventually comes back down. Their recent statement when a piece of space junk the size of a double decker bus was set to crash land? Something on the lines:  “we don’t know where or when it’s going to fall. What runs out fuel eventually comes back down, but don’t worry – the chances of being hit by it are minute!” Yeah…thanks mate – that’s good scientific data to back-up a good responsible attitude towards our planet! We know we can trust you…

And we have Monsanto!

They have done so much to deserve this award that I feel that if they don’t win it outright they should be awarded on a special category of their own… they have given us over 100 years of their efforts not only by distorting our food chain as much as possible, but also by making sure that the damage to the environment is irreversible! And their latest stroke of stupidity? Super weeds! Through the systematic use of their weed killer “Roundup” they have strengthen common weeds and created a new strand that is now resistant to any known weed killer! And because you can’t have too much of a good thing: it is also available in concentrate form! But that’s okay…just bear with them I’m sure their new super strong weed killer must be coming up soon…in the meantime just enjoy their genetically modified corn: it’s proven to cause cancer in mice…but we are men not mice aren’t we…?

And off course let’s not forget the energy corporations:

So many have been involved in recent crimes against the environment that it’s virtually impossible to single one out. We have fracking to thank for quakes and permanent geologic stress; we have oil, and chemical spills affecting the wild life; we have radioactive leakage: a most efficient way of being able to damage more with less… that way they not only affect current generation as they also ensure birth defects for generations to come! And not contented with damaging land, there is now a trend of discarding, whatever is perceived as too toxic to be handled, into the oceans:

“Well there is so much water isn’t it?
Most of our planet is composed of it so why limit ourselves to do away with land when we can spread toxicity so much faster if we damp it into the water and get done with it? Never mind the three eyed fish – we were going to get there anyway with genetically modified food… who knows they might be a delicacy…"

Never mind the cancer rate going up either:
Big Pharma is on the case!

The ingenuity of this money spinning, pill popping industry is relentless! “Do you suffer from headaches? Have our newest painkiller: it hasn’t been properly tested yet but what’s the worst thing that could happen? Okay, you might end up having a stroke, internal bleeding, blurred vision, chronic diarrhoea, reduced hearing, and depression…but don’t worry we have just the right drugs for that too! Surely it’s got to be better than having to put with a headache, don’t you think? Is the contraceptive pill getting in the water supply and causing Prostate cancer? Oh well you can’t have your cake and eat it! Or perhaps you can…just bear with us while we work on a new jab… if you can’t wait for that: we could use you as spare parts, do you have a kidney or two you could donate? Or perhaps a brain?”

With so many contenders to this award of corporate stupidity, I’m starting to think that the only way to be fair is to have several categories! Keep those nominations coming folks!

Homeopathy Celebrities on the couch - Michael Jackson starved of love

Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson by justjnia, Flckr
This week the Undercover Homeopath analyses Michael Jackson's psychological profile according to homeopathy principles, and prescribes a homeopathic remedy.

Michael Jackson – starved of love
Michael Jackson the king of Pop was indisputably a creative genius.
As a baby he was already unusually co-ordinate in his movements and good at dancing. He became a performing artist at a very young age, and together with his eight brothers and sisters they were known as the Jacksons.  But he felt abused and taken advantage of by his father – forced to rehearse and to do public performances, he felt continuously under pressure to be the best since childhood.
As the emotional suffering took over his mind transforming the shy teenager we once knew into an asexual and eccentric figure who refused to grow up, we watched little by little a metamorphose taking place: reshaping his image turning his physical body in what he thought more appealing to his public while his intellect was slowly being taken over by mental illness, and completely devouring him from the inside.
In his last days he wanted to make amends for his life:
A fresh start with a series of concerts in London, in his words, he wanted his children to remember him for his talent on stage, not for what he’d become.
This man who was so painfully emaciated that the undertakers who collected his body thought him an hospice patient, this man who was nearly blind, who had a catheter for releasing his urine, who was addicted to “Milk” the affectionate name he found for the highly dangerous drug he become dependent on – gave an amazing rehearsal performance full of energy the day before he died.
Years earlier he was on trial
He was accused of child abuse for his unusual friendship with young boys.  At the time he said he liked to sleep in the company of little boys but that nothing improper had taken place – he was acquitted but not before a long and damaging trial which robbed him of the privacy he so much craved for.
Apparently he’d never overcome that desire of sleeping with a child by his side – on his deathbed there was  a doll the size of a child...
He hardly ate. He was very secretive both of his life and that of his children – forcing them to become reclusive like himself, and to wear masks as young children so that no one would know what they looked like.  Obsessive in many things: Excessive use of aftershave and fear of catching infections from contact with people were well known.  He was a perfectionist – he had to be the best.
Throughout his career he treated his fans to a display designed to mesmerized them, a series of flawless performances that could not be matched in real life, and so he locked himself away from public view – afraid of disappointing, of being less than loved…
But he couldn’t hide from himself: his self-reflection distorted by a damaging upbringing, a past he couldn’t forget, starved of love.

His health:
He inherited Vitiligo from his father, a skin condition that causes discoloration. He suffered serious burns to his head from an accident with fireworks while filming a commercial.  He had extensive aesthetic surgery as a result, and a lifelong of painkiller dependency.  After this he had several plastic surgeries, he reconstructed his entire facial structure but seemed particularly obsessed with nasal reshaping.
When he died he was emaciated, almost bald, nearly blind, and had a catheter as it took him hours to urinate.  He had severe toenail fungus that was rotting his flesh, and he also suffered from arthritis – he must’ve been in a considerable amount of pain on a daily basis.
He was a fragile and sensitive individual both emotional and physically not able to bear much pain.

Homeopathic Profile- Thuja, the beauty and the beast:
Thuja remedy would have suited Michael Jackson well both at mental and physical level.
At a physical level it is the main remedy for vitiligo, burns, to clear drug toxicity, arthritis, toe nail fungus, also for urinary disorders with urinary retention that can eventually lead to catheterisation.
Psychologically Thuja is the remedy for people who suffered abuse as children, and feel unloved as a result.  They try to be perfect at all times even resorting to plastic surgery in order to correct minor details of their physical appearance, and controlling all their attitudes whilst on public view . To them being loved by others can only be achieved by complete perfection, for this reason they can be very secretive about their private life as they fear if others see them as they really are they will be rejected.
They try to keep the perfect image by sticking to ridged routines and obsessive compulsive behaviour, but because they cannot keep up their image of perfection all the time they carefully control what they can and cannot reveal about themselves.
They tend to be escapists, resorting either to religious fanaticism or to drugs in order to reach a spiritual world they have difficulty in otherwise attaining as they become thorn in between a deep, dark subconscious where images of death and underworld abound, and the light of the spiritual world that they want to pursue.

Homeopathy and The Occupy at St Paul's

This week the Undercover Homeopath goes out in the field in search a homeopathic connection and ends up volunteering to run a free Homeopathy clinic!

It’s all very well and good to support a cause from the comfort of your home – and don’t take me wrong – a lot of good can come from that...
whether you are donating a Tweet for a good cause, making a financial contribution, blogging or posting on your network:
making others aware of the wrongs that can be put right. Those are all very valid contributions to better the world we live in.

But today, I decided that it was no longer an option for me to just watch the Occupy movement from a distance, so
I went down to St Paul’s in London
to see the camping site and to mingle with the protesters.
This is what I found:  a busy group of people of all ages spending their day discussing urgent community and social issues, getting themselves busy with the daily run of the camp, organising themselves, undertaking  responsibility for the orderly maintenance of their site as well as making a stance for social and economic injustice.
It seems to me that “Occupy, occupy!” is having a huge task as “Organise, organise!”

And contrary to what I have been reading on the Media about lack of organisation and respect towards their community – what I saw was a very well  ran camp. Various committee meetings were taking place throughout the morning, the first one I saw was the one with the Church representative, but there were several happening at the same time.
There are also two general assemblies a day to give people the opportunity to put forward any concerns or issues that need sorting, and where everyone is invited to vote on practical issues to do with the camp itself such as: recycling, re-using of items, alternative energy sources for the running of the camp, etc.
There are volunteer groups running the library, the re-cycling centre, the first aid, the hot drinks, the donations, the wellbeing centre – which includes Meditation and Healing – and it will also be including Homeopathy within the next few days…you guessed: I’ve volunteered a couple of hours a week!
Off course with all the groups, and especially with a group so diverse as this there are also some unpleasant characters that infiltrate in order to causing disruption…but I didn’t see any today.

And I didn’t see people with masks… but I respected their right to privacy by avoiding photographing individuals and focusing more on the protest itself – their posters and banners.  I made an exception for this chap  who wants to raise awareness for the prospect of an attack on Iran, and who stated that he is very happy to be photographed along with his poster!

Oh! By the way… these guys need blankets, thick socks, hot water bottles, mugs, and permanent markers – so if you live in London or are coming over for a holiday – don’t forget to pop by!
The cold and wet British weather is getting to their bones and joints – as I was sitting at their general assembly I could see all sorts of creaking joints, neck and shoulder stiffness from rough sleep in cold and wet concrete.  Remedies anyone? I’ll be stocking up on Rhus-Tox, Ruta, Causticum  and Bryonia for starters…

Homeopathy Celebrities on the couch Justin Bieber growing up

Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber by Laugher=] ,Flckr

This week the Undercover Homeopath analyses Justin Bieber's psychological profile according to homeopathy principles, and prescribes a homeopathic remedy.

Justin Bieber's Homeopathic profile is
Kali Bromatum

Justin Bieber the teen R&B idol has provoked strong passions not only among his many fans but also amongst those who don’t appreciate his musical style.  It is fair to say that he is never going to be ignored, at least not by his generation: they either love him or hate him!

This is a characteristic of the Bromatum homeopathic remedy psychological profile. - Strong emotions that can boarder religious fanaticism.  Another very important characteristic of the remedy is guilt; mostly surrounding sexual issues… that and a sense of being constantly observed.

The Kali (Potassium) component of the remedy adds another dimension to the main theme: that of duty.  People who need Kali remedies at a psychological level are very work focused and duty bound, they have a conflict between their personal desires and what their duty is: with them, duty normally wins and often they find themselves having to sacrifice themselves, their wants and desires to their work - they consider this their duty!

In the case of Justin, we get a sense that he has indeed sacrificed his personal desires for his work.  What it started has a singing hobby with a few of his covers songs being posted on YouTube by his mother when he was a youngster, attracted the attention of a recording company and quickly he was catapulted into the lime light.  His innocent, childlike, spontaneous and effortless look of fresh youth inspired a marketing image of purity / virginity.  In a world where most stars are known for their raunchy, bad boy/ bad girl behavior, this is an image difficult to preserve.

He has been mocked throughout the Media for comments about wanting to wait for the right girl before he has sex.  Most of these comments however, came from his mum and from his management.  Last year he gladly associated himself with Kim Kardashian, even admitting on Twitter that she was his girlfriend. Rumors were quickly quashed by his managers but not before the fanatic fringe of his fans to profess their undying hate to the lucky lady…

Since then he has been pictured with girlfriend Selena Gomez, and they have started to even venture to some very tame public displays of affection, but this has again been carefully controlled by Bieber’s minders so not to erode the marketing image that has earned him millions.

This week he appears to be the target of another attack on this image by a woman claiming that he fathered her child on brief encounter backstage…

Bieber has been quick to reply that he has never met the woman and that he “maybe a target but never a victim.”

All of these personality traits and events lead on Kali Bromatum remedy.

It is incidentally the remedy for Acne which is a typical teenage affliction but also a sign of raging hormones, and of growing up!  I say don’t suppress Justin Bieber!  Allow him to grow up and to become a man - hey, give a bit of space!
